About the Institute

Our history, mission and values

The Institute

Instituto Iracema de Pesquisa e Inovação is a non-profit civil society organization with administrative autonomy, founded in May 2012 by a group of professors from IFCE — the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará — who came together to create a unit that would foster projects in their fields of work.

Its creation was also based on structuring a new model for delivering projects, with development methodologies covering technical, organizational and managerial innovations applied so as to engage everyone involved and improve results efficiently. The goal is to provide a broad support network for research, development and innovation projects, operating under the terms of Brazil's Federal Innovation Act (Law No. 10,973 of 2 December 2004) and Law No. 13,243 of 11 January 2016.

Mission

To support, deliver and foster projects and activities related to research, education, development, outreach, culture and innovation with quality, inclusion and sustainability, aiming at growth and social benefit.

Vision
